Description
Despite the fact her fiction series is still in Storyboard Hell, Judy "Kowai" Portner has managed make it to art form...or at least in anime form.
Anyway, this girl is the title character of an original series of mine called "Kowai of Infinity Inn." Here she's standing among a bunch of ruins, holding the scythe she often carries throughout the story and wearing her other trademarks: A black hooded jacket and a small smile. However, I should note that nothing in the drawing actually happens in the story (as far as I've planned), nor is she a devil. Anything further would be considered spoilers, so I'll stop her description right here.
Corel Photo-Paint and I actually got along for once, although I still had my usual round of CG problems with this piece. Drawing wise, I think I made her look more evil than she actually is.
Other than these, I really like this one.

Hmn, I do like this; I didn't picture Kowai looking like that. o.o But then, you DID say she doesn't look quite so evil. Mmn...
While I do like the pic, I should offer the suggestion of providing more contrast between the character and the background/surroundings. Everything sort of blends together, and the attention of the viewer may spread a bit too much. Just some critique to take into consideration for next time (unless this was your intention -- then ignore this).
